Purchased this on a whim because I needed a beater knife for when the in-laws or friends visited and needed to cook. For the price it’s a decent knife. The weight is a bit on the light end, especially when compared to my Wusthof chef knife but that blade was 3x the price. The knife came with a good edge out of the box but durability is still to be seen. I’d recommend for someone who just needs an extra “beater” knife or someone who just needs a cheap chef knife to get their knife collection started.4 months ago -

Great everday knife for kitchen I ve used this knife on multiple items so far. It cut raw chicken & meats very easily for me. There was no sawing required like some of my other knives. The size is perfect to make it a versatile tool in the kitchen. The knife is hand washed and dried. I have had no issues with this knife and it seems like it will be a sturdy knife for everyday use. So that makes me feel like they are confident in the lifespan of this knife. I am very happy with this knife and I would definitely recommend it to others.3 years ago

Super sharp so be careful. What a difference it makes trying to cut something with a knife that is actually sharp. This is a great knife for so many things in the kitchen. I haven’t used it that much yet, but the few times I have I have been very grateful to have it.4 years ago

Awesome knife This knife comes in a very nice box if you want to give it as a gift. It s a very long knife and could nearly slice a loaf lengthwise.It s very sharp so may be really good for slicing meat, My only issue is that it is so sharp that I m afraid to store it in a drawer without a case, so I will store it in the box, I don t want to reach in and slice my hand. Other than that, the knife is impressive, very sharp, very nice looking and would make a good gift.4 years ago

Mean and good It s heavy, well built, and cuts like butter. I bought it a while ago, but yesterday I chopped chicken with it myself(normally the task is outsourced to the men of the family). I love to cook and have been dealing with dull, cheap knives for years, until my son told me about this knife. It has truly been life changing! I cook from scratch almost every day, and this is super sharp and comfortable, and cuts through hard items like raw sweet potatoes and squash with ease, makes fine dicing of onions super easy, makes trimming raw meat quick and easy - it is a true time saver! Just a head s up - it is really very sharp, and so even though it warns you of that on the packaging, the first thing I did right out of the gate was cut myself with it when I attempted to de-seed a pepper in my hand like I normally would have with one of my old, dull knives haha. It was just a minor paper cut type slice thank goodness, but yeah it really does work! It says not to put in the dishwasher, but one time a family member did put it in the dishwasher with no apparent ill effects. Probably not good to do on a regular basis though.5 years ago

Can t say enough good things about it. Easily the best knife I own(and the cheapest). I had reservations when I ordered it. But the moment I used it, it was nothing but pure satisfaction. Easily to chopingand slicing:This knife is unbelievable. It really sliced everything up like butter!! I even tried it with the hardest of meat and it was still so easy to cut. And not to mention how beautiful it is!! The design on the blade looks incredible and original. This as a gift for me and I love it! My husband ordered this as a Christmas gift for me and I love it! I’ve had it for roughly five months and it is still my go to and still super sharp. It comes extremely sharp so I would be very careful especially if your inexperienced with knives since it does not hesitate. Excellent Multi-Purpose Clever Primary uses for the item are butchery of meat. Also, extremely handy all-purpose chopper, any chef who knows their way around a kitchen or product in question will know that this heavy blade has a myriad of uses. The sheath is also a nice touch, so it can also be serviced as an outdoor/bbq/meal prep clever. An amazing blade that can do just about everything. I must say this is a great knife! The full tang and heavy spine give it the cutting power of a full butcher knife. It s heavy but balanced which plays well when you need intricate cuts. The curve of the spine to the point gives it the finesse of a chef s knife. In no way does this knife replace every knife in the kitchen but the amazing leather and sheath mean you can take this and only this in the backcountry and do everything from dress an animal to cut veggies to cook with it. Long lasting blade and great sharpness:Bought this a gift for a friend. Heard from her brother that it carved the turkey quite nicely over Thanksgiving and see was looking forward to using it on the Christmas ham. She loves it and that s really all that matters to me. But as knife guy myself the overall look and feel of the blade and most importantly the balance all impressed me. The leather sheath was well made as well. Nice weight, Shipped and arrived SUPER fast I have been looking for a knife like this for a long time, and was only finding the carbon steel ones that rust without special care. I am not a special care person beyond hand washing when it comes to my knives. I have not used it yet, but looking forward to using it. Weight using the handle feels great, like a cleaver. Best knife ever! This is a heavy knife. I thought it would be awkward to use, but it is awesome. It easily glides through what you are cutting. It can slice garlic paper-thin. The handle is easy to hold, the blade is made very well. I got this knife from watching a video on FB. This one is well priced and worth it. It replaces most of the knives I own.
