This is the sharpest knife I have ever used The knife will be sitting safely in its box only coming out for some boutique work. Why? quite honestly - and as a seasoned cook who makes 90+% of my food at home, this knife is a razor on wheels. Fantastic knife This knife is well designed and fits your hand very well. It has a very sharp blade. I was cutting an old slightly wrinkled green pepper and it felt like it was rubbery and the knife went right though it with no problem at all. I really liked the form of the handle. The best knife :First quality chef s knife ever, and I love it so far! Handle has a really nice weight and feel in my hand, and the wood grain is beautiful. It came in a nice box with a magnetic snap-lock strip on it, and was packed well. Excellent Multi-Purpose Clever Also extremely handy all purpose chopper, any chef who knows their way around a kitchen or product in question will know that this heavy blade has a myriad of uses. The sheath is also a nice touch, so it can also be serviced as an outdoor/bbq/meal prep clever. Best knife ever! This is a heavy knife. I thought it would be awkward to use, but it is awesome. It easily glides through what you are cutting. It can slice garlic paper-thin. The handle is easy to hold, the blade is made very well. I got this knife from watching a video on FB. This one is well priced and worth it. It replaces most of the knives I own. Forging Serbian Chef knife is an Excellent Addition to your Kitchen This knife is EXTREMELY sharp, with excellent craftsmanship. We’ve used it on the Ironwood cutting board, to debone the meat, and slice/dice veggies, great for slicing through a watermelon, cantaloupe, etc., and for cutting whole chickens for frying. Great knife! I think it’s awesome! Very sharp and I really like how the blade is thick at the top then gets narrow on the blade edge. I used it on a semi-frozen chuck roast and it sliced like butter! But...understand that it’s a high carbon steel not stainless. It’s considerably more brittle than stainless because it’s harder.4 years ago

Great for slicing sourdough So I have a huge bread/cake knife I think the blade is about 15inches. I made the mistake of using that to cut into a fresh sourdough loaf. The knife was way to long, slipped on the delicious crust and I cut myself pretty bad. It was then I realized that I needed a smaller and sturdier knife for bread and my other knife has been relegated to cutting cakes.4 years ago

I can t rate it just now as I just received the knife yesterday and have not actually used it yet. But, from the description and what I have seen, I think my rating will be positive. Looks and FEELS great in your hand. I cannot wait till I get it going. I am a jerky maker and this knife looks like it will do well in thin trimming the jerky meat. Best and sharp knife Just got this and went on a chopping spree this blade is super sharp it is heavy and makes useing it a dream, I peeled a hand of ginger and the sharpness allowed me to remove just the skin ot looks big but that is what you want when chopping or slicing and you can slice thin with this blade if all of their knives are this good I may be buying the rest of the knives in this line5 years ago

Wow - What A Knife! I ve never had a chef s knife before and this seems like a very good one. It s well balanced and feels good in the hand. The handle is made of wood and feels very comfortable as you hold it. It comes in a nice presentation box and it has a slip-on guard that covers the entire sharp edge. I assumed the hammered design on the sides was simply for looks, but it also serves to shed the cut food as you cut through thicker things - a nice touch. The blade is made of carbon steel, a preferred material for knives. The proof is in the cutting, of course, and I first tested it by slicing through a sheet of paper as I held it and it made nice clean cuts. Then I progressed to steaks, onions, and cucumbers. It made quick work of them. The blade is very sharp and the weight works for chopping as well as slicing. I ll be using this one frequently for a long time.5 years ago

I like knives and this one is a good looking nicely balanced chef s knife for regular kitchen duty. The handle is comfortable and the blade has a good shape for all the chores you d use a chef s knife for. The only, minor, point on craftsmanship is the wood to metal fit could be a bit better. Really great knife loved it :So far - loving this knife! I am woefully short of sharp knives in my house and we grill meat all summer long. I was pretty excited to try out this meat on some steak. Cut through it just like butter .I ve also used to slice potatoes, which never fails to make my hands exhausted, and dice up herbs. While it s not meant for the finer dicing, I like to put my knives through the all-purpose paces. Definitely a good knife so far.6 years ago

Sharp razor :I purchased this knife for a vacation home that was lacking decent chef knife. I was looking for an inexpensive knife that would have adequate performance. I was not disappointed. The knife is of excellent quality and is very solid. It is razor sharp and holds it’s edge well.
