I ve Bought Five of These This is my go-to kitchen knife and I just leave it out on my Boos Block cutting board. Sure, I use my Shun knives for stuff but this knife is great for almost everything. The first one I bought was for my son who is in culinary school. Then I bought one for myself. Now, when I have someone I cook for they almost say "What a cool knife". So the other 3 have been gifts. Very nicely weighted when held properly! Super happy with the knife. Very sturdy and sharp, cuts meat without any effort. Love it s good quality scabbard. Sharp (ouch) We really like this knife. Seriously though it’s pretty sharp and the wife and I have both cut ourselves while slicing bagels (because we hold the bagels like idiots). this is an extremely great blade. this blade is extremely hard and will keep the edge for a very long time but the downside is that the blade isnt very tough and is also really thin so it can snap fairly easy. it shouldn t be an issue for those who have at least 3 brain cells. the blade is beautiful and extremely light. And with all the chromium it wont rust. you will have to go out of your way to ruin this blade. extremely high quality for the price and the little case it comes with is really great1 year ago

Amazing knife. Pro material Great knife. It’s become my go-to for separating chickens and cutting root vegetables. I’ve only used it a couple times on other things, but I try to keep my knives separated by task so I can rely on them better. It’s nice because the back of the knife is so tall that often, it stays above what I’m cutting, so it stays nice and clean and easy to control. The sheath is very nice. It fits perfectly in the leather sheath and you can fold the clasp away so you don’t accidentally cut it off.All that said, I love this knife and it is now one of my primary knives for tough root vegetables and butcher work.2 years ago

Been looking for knives to replace some old, full tang, wooden handle knives that were sharpened so much, they were super thin and the edge was destroyed. I tried many cheaper knives and was super disappointed, whether steel or ceramic. I tried this chef knife based upon reviews and reduced price at the time. These knives have great balance with full tang. Solid delrin handle is sturdy and fits my hand well. Knives arrived very sharp and seem to be maintaining their edge just fine. I love to cook and have been dealing with dull, cheap knives for years, until my son told me about this knife. It has truly been life changing! I cook from scratch almost every day, and this is super sharp and comfortable, and cuts through hard items like raw sweet potatoes and squash with ease, makes fine dicing of onions super easy, makes trimming raw meat quick and easy - it is a true time saver! Just a head s up - it is really very sharp, and so even though it warns you of that on the packaging, the first thing I did right out of the gate was cut myself with it when I attempted to de-seed a pepper in my hand like I normally would have with one of my old, dull knives haha. It was just a minor paper cut type slice thank goodness, but yeah it really does work! It says not to put in the dishwasher, but one time a family member did put it in the dishwasher with no apparent ill effects. Probably not good to do on a regular basis though.3 years ago

Knife is well made, looks nice and accurate. It is easy to maintain and holds sharpening pretty well. I’ve Zwilling Professional S knifes and it is very competitive for a fraction of a price. As far as utility knife goes, Zwilling has a wider blade. But it is really the almost only way that I can differentiate them. The design, quality, feeling are interchangeable. They hold age about the same time. It is possible that Zwilling is a little harder, at least I’ve to put more pressure honing.4 years ago

Long lasting blade and great sharpness:Bought this a gift for a friend. Heard from her brother that it carved the turkey quite nicely over Thanksgiving and see was looking forward to using it on the Christmas ham. She loves it and that s really all that matters to me. Nice weight, Shipped and arrived SUPER fast I have been looking for a knife like this for a long time, and was only finding the carbon steel ones that rust without special care. Just what I needed. This is a great knife. First task out of the box was to split an oven roaster chicken. Did this with ease. The knife has a nice weight (and razor edge) and when right through the chicken bones. The very next task was to finely chop fresh herbs for said chicken...again excellent control. The handle is well attached and the black patina from the heat treatment gives the knife an old world look. My family raises and butchers chicken and beef. This knife will get a workout. My new favorite chef knife! The weight of the knife will cut through chicken breast. Very sharp, and no imperfections upon initial inspection. Have only used the knife a handful of times but I like it alot. Its a hard metal, and so far so good. Time will tell how this hold up. Such a beautiful knife...im a chef with 25 years of line experience...Out of the box it s the sharpest knife I ve ever used as far as I can remember. It s a good weight and feels comfortable in the hand as well. I ve julienned about 10 lbs onions and diced about 5 lbs of tomatoes and the egde is still sharp. The ease that it passed though the softest tomatoes was astounding. The blade is thin and delicate so you can make some precise cuts... however it is not intended for rougher tasks like hard mincing of fresh rosemary and thyme spigs, heading whole fish, smashing garlic with the side of blade, or trying to hack at frozen stuff...obviously. picked it up for 20 buck on sale. extremely sharp :Really sharp. I would not advise for your day to day cook. You need some experience in handling cutlery to properly handle this chef knife. I really like it but I would not be comfortable with having inexperienced people use it. I cut my finger just getting it out of the box but that was my fault (I survived). I also would recommend that the non-cutting edges be rounded or protected from incidental cuts. Also, be careful when cleaning as the blade is extremely sharp!. Sharp knife for its value For the value spent, this knife exceeded my expectations. Delivery came in a week in advance. This knife is very light weight, comfortable handle. The downfall to this knife is the blades are very thin. Therefore, dropping it on the floor can bend the tip. I wish it would come with a knife cover.7 years ago

Heavy Duty The chef s knife is heavy-duty but not too heavy to use comfortably. I was surprised by how sharp it is I used it to slice a pork loin I grilled and it was a breeze. I love it so far and would highly recommend it.7 years ago

Sharp and so versatile! I love this knife! It is so sharp! I have used it for everything from slicing tomatoes to cutting up raw chicken.
