Razor sharp, well made, cheap leather sheath. Buy it. I love this knife the price for what you get is great. I don’t know if the one I purchased was a freak but right out of the box and still the sharpest new knife I’ve ever owned. Great for cutting meat or even tomatoes. The leather sheath is OK. Decently put together but cheap leather but if ur looking for a long lasting sharp knife for a decent price then buy it.

An amazing blade that can do just about everything. I must say this is a great knife! The full tang and heavy spine gives it the cutting power of a full butcher knife. Its heavy but balanced which plays well when you need intricate cuts. The curve of the spine to the point gives it the finesse of a chefs knife. In no way does this knife replace every knife in the kitchen but with the amazing leather sheath mean you can take this and only this in the back country and do everything from dress an animal to cut veggies to cook with it. I love this knife.

Great knife! I think it’s awesome! Very sharp and I really like how the blade is thick at the top then gets narrow on the blade edge. I used it on a semi-frozen chuck roast and it sliced like butter! But...understand that it’s a high carbon steel not stainless. It’s considerably more brittle than stainless because it’s harder.

I would recommend buying this knife! If it doesn’t work out it can always be returned however, I don’t think you will want to return it.

Excellent Multi-Purpose Clever Primary uses for the item are butchery of meat. Also, extremely handy all-purpose chopper, any chef who knows their way around a kitchen or product in question will know that this heavy blade has a myriad of uses. The sheath is also a nice touch, so it can also be serviced as an outdoor/bbq/meal prep clever. The edge is holding up fine, however, I would say this would require a grinder to effectively sharpen. :D

This knife is sharp! I didn’t touch it up at all and it glides through food. I bought a separate guard for it to keep the edge safe in our drawer. The fit and finish is perfect. There are no gaps around the scales, the rivets are ground smooth and flush, the spine of the blade is slightly rounded and smooth. Been using it for a month and it’s still sharp. I’m very impressed coming from a Giada chef knife I’ve been using for the last 10 years that needed frequent sharpening/touch ups.

Sharp (ouch) We really like this knife. Seriously though it’s pretty sharp and the wife and I have both cut ourselves while slicing bagels (because we hold the bagels like idiots). Put the bagel down Karen and use a cutting board because just one touch cuts your finger open. Oh and the handle fits in well with our other black handles knives.

Great addition to the kitchen tool box. This is a great addition for someone looking for a meat trimmer and dicer. I primarily use it to trim the fat off of beef or pork roasts and chicken. Works well because it is super sharp and the heavy blade makes it easy to slice through tough meats. I questioned the finger hole but it helps with control. All-in-all it’s a great knife for the price.

Heavy Duty Blade Am a man. Very sharp and heavy blade. I was surprised by how thick the metal was. The weight of the knife might tire someone with smaller or more delicate hands. It’s beast at chopping. I use the wide blade as a sort of spatula when doing prep work in the kitchen.

Sharp and handsome Handsome knife in tooled leather holder. This knife is SHARP! My husband really enjoys using it for cutting meat, veggies etc, it works great. Probably one of the nicest knives for gifting. Just make sure once you’ve cleaned it you dry if off immediately then rub some oil on it. It has the tendency to rust if not.

I have never used a knife that slides through everything with such ease. I went to slice open the plastic packaging for the sausages I was cooking, and I thought I had missed the plastic - it was that smooth. I barely had to apply any pressure when slicing up the sausages. Cutting up the carrots, cauliflower, and apples was amazingly easy, as well. I m going to take good care of this little gem of a knife!

Knife is well made, looks nice and accurate. It is easy to maintain and holds sharpening pretty well. I’ve Zwilling Professional S knifes and it is very competitive for a fraction of a price. As far as utility knife goes, Zwilling has a wider blade. But it is really the almost only way that I can differentiate them. The design, quality, feeling are interchangeable. They hold age about the same time. It is possible that Zwilling is a little harder, at least I’ve to put more pressure honing.

Very nice knife- it’s very sharp but not like unbelievable Sharp. I made some French dip on the smoker - it cut the cooked meat nice and easy- very little effort- but it didn’t slice it lunch meat thin. It slipped on the juicy meat at one point while I was slicing and landed on my finger cutting me. Good news for me that it didn’t slice super deep- but if it was razor sharp it would’ve gone to the bone- I got lucky. Anyway- one bandage later and I enjoyed a great meal. I would buy this again no question.

I’m not a professional chef so much as an avid home cook. That said, I cook nearly everyday. I had been back and forth between this knife, Wustohf or Henckle. Living overseas in Japan I couldn’t find a place that carried this knife in order to actually put it in my hand, but the massive amount of amazing reviews sold me on it. I’ve used both of the other two I mentioned and they are great, but I just couldn’t justify the price tags when the reviews were so good for this one. Feels great in my hand and is well balanced. I’ve been using it very often for about three months now and with regular use of a steel it’s stayed super sharp. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this knife for anyone!!

Man! I am consistently blown away by their products!!! The quality is matchless and for the price, the value is incredible!!! I love the feel of this knife in my hands, it’s wonderful to carve with. Some knives can hurt after you cut consistently with them and are not ergonomically designed for comfort. The blade is beautiful and easy to sharpen although I didn’t need to sharpen it for a while! Purchased this on a whim because I needed a beater knife for when the in-laws or friends visited and needed to cook. For the price it’s a decent knife. The weight is a bit on the light end, especially when compared to my Wusthof chef knife but that blade was 3x the price. The knife came with a good edge out of the box but durability is still to be seen. I’d recommend for someone who just needs an extra “beater” knife or someone who just needs a cheap chef knife to get their knife collection started.

Very nice cook knife. The material is premium, very sharp knife. I have used this knife for a couple days, I cut super thin beef, used it for hard carrots, onions, it all works well. It’s not heavy in weight, the handle is comfortable. As far as durability and maintenance of the sharp blade, we’ll have to see. So far, it’s the best chef’s knife I’ve used in this price level.

This is the second knife I am buying. Love love the first one and wanted to have the same one in my second home. Stop your search! Just buy this knife and thank me later! This thing is awesome. The first knife I have already for 4-6 month and no change in quality. That’s why I went and purchased a second one. It arrived in 2 days and I had a huge pack of chicken cutlets that it let me filet super thin.. although this is a vegetable knife I use it for meat as well. Cut so smoothly and fast.

Overall this knife is not bad for the price. It does come in a nice gift box.. It is definitely sharp at first, but after a couple weeks of use, I had to sharpen it. Ever since then I sharpen pretty often. Also, the tip is very thin. Mine chipped after weeks of use. With that said, it’s not not a bad knife! But it’s not a chefs knife. If you’re looking for a professional knife that will last, I would look elsewhere.

Great quality for the price. Sharp and very heavy duty. This thing is a beast! Very thick,sturdy, sharp blade. This blade is made to cleve and chop and has a seamless wedge blade geometry still sharp enough to slice. I think the real leather sheath is bare bones and I dont care for the design but it works.

Heavy, sharp and versatile. Very heavy knife with excellent construction. It was razor sharp right out of the box and I like the shape for chopping vegetables and mincing herbs. I’m very happy with the value of this knife. Do I recommend this product? Overall, this knife makes me look like a chef. I don’t have much use for the leather case ( not sure if it’s real) unless I’m going to be carrying around with me wherever I go ( pretty sure can’t do that). Sharp razor :I purchased this knife for a vacation home that was lacking decent chef knife. I was looking for an inexpensive knife that would have adequate performance. I was not disappointed. The knife is of excellent quality and is very solid. It is razor sharp and holds it’s edge well. For this price point, I don’t think you are going to find a more well-balanced and accurate piece of cutlery. Keeps and edge very well, and I really do love it, and am loving this overall! That knife This is a beautiful knife and it comes in a very nice presentation box with a tip protector. I think pakka wood is some sort of laminated wood but whatever it is, it looks good. I’d never thought of using a bread knife for anything but bread but I’ve used this one on cake and even some large fruit and veggies. Works great.

Fantastic for the price Fantastic knife! Good weight. Nice handling. Very sharp and keeps a good edge so far. I have not honed or sharpened it yet. I keep a brush with oil on hand to lightly brush it with oil to keep it from rusting. Sure to last as far as I can see. It s leather sheath is very durable. The only small problem with the sheath is that the knife catches a bit on the snap that it has when drawing it. So far the best cleaver I have used. Well worth every penny. It is not warped and has not cracked as shown in other reviews.

Chef knife I really like this knife. I figure I would buy a cheap one and use it as a work horse and not need to worry to much about it. That knife This is a beautiful knife and it comes in a very nice presentation box with a tip protector. I think pakka wood is some sort of laminated wood but whatever it is, it looks good. I’d never thought of using a bread knife for anything but bread but I’ve used this one on cake and even some large fruit and veggies. Works great.

Nice looking knife. Has a nice balance to it and feels good when I m chopping vegetables. But notice the knife started to chip away after a few months of use. It s become dull quickly after the first week of being used. Can barely cut any meats anymore. Sharpening could help, but hate to see the knife already being chipped.

Great wood handle :I very like to cooking the food. So I bought this chef knife instead of last one. This was a good deal.I like the wood handle that made me very comfortable. When I cut the meat from whole lamb with my hands had coveted the animal oil, I could hold it well.I didn t grind it until know. It s sharp now. I thought 2 to 3 weeks to grind it should be well.It has been using whole week now and so far. I like it.I highly recommend this chef knife with decent price

Great knife! I think it’s awesome! Very sharp and I really like how the blade is thick at the top then gets narrow on the blade edge. I used it on a semi-frozen chuck roast and it sliced like butter! But...understand that it’s a high carbon steel not stainless. It’s considerably more brittle than stainless because it’s harder.

Multi-use knife great for everything It’s a decent heavy knife I love cutting, chopping, and slicing, it does it all sharp blade. It’s great after cutting stuff to scooping veggies onto the knife and taking them straight to the pan. I’ve noticed myself cutting better, thinner, straighter, with less effort out of my hand and more of the knife doing the work. The sheath is very nice I wouldn’t say it’s the best but built well and has thicker edges to fit the blade. The knife cleans up real easy stuff do not stick to it. Overall pretty damn good knife originally I got this as a camping and hunting knife, an all-in-one knife As I would best describe it. but know I’m using it every day in the kitchen and will probably get a second one so I don’t forget it

Just A Fantastic Knife:I love this chef knife It s razor sharp out of the box. The blade has enough meat on it s bones to be sturdy, but not so much as to feel heavy to use. The handle is gorgeous and ergonomic, though "pakkawood" simply seems to be laminated acrylic impregnated wood I bought as I prefer to have a chefs knife and this one very much fits the bill. I will update later if my impression changes for any reason, but so far I am very happy with this purchase as well as the set I bought.

Just threw a brisket on the grill and had to slice off a lot of fat. The Japanese steel cut thru like butter. I’m using the santoku now and the cleaver to chop it up later. Such an amazing and beautiful product!

Knife is well made, looks nice and accurate. It is easy to maintain and holds sharpening pretty well. I’ve Zwilling Professional S knifes and it is very competitive for a fraction of a price. As far as utility knife goes, Zwilling has a wider blade. But it is really the almost only way that I can differentiate them. The design, quality, feeling are interchangeable. They hold age about the same time. It is possible that Zwilling is a little harder, at least I’ve to put more pressure honing.

This knife is sharp! I didn’t touch it up at all and it glides through food. I bought a separate guard for it to keep the edge safe in our drawer. The fit and finish is perfect. There are no gaps around the scales, the rivets are ground smooth and flush, the spine of the blade is slightly rounded and smooth. Been using it for a month and it’s still sharp. I’m very impressed coming from a Giada chef knife I’ve been using for the last 10 years that needed frequent sharpening/touch ups.

Very nice knife- it’s very sharp but not like unbelievable Sharp. I made some French dip on the smoker - it cut the cooked meat nice and easy- very little effort- but it didn’t slice it lunch meat thin. It slipped on the juicy meat at one point while I was slicing and landed on my finger cutting me. Good news for me that it didn’t slice super deep- but if it was razor sharp it would’ve gone to the bone- I got lucky. Anyway- one bandage later and I enjoyed a great meal. I would buy this again no question.

I’m not a professional chef so much as an avid home cook. That said, I cook nearly everyday. I had been back and forth between this knife, Wustohf or Henckle. Living overseas in Japan I couldn’t find a place that carried this knife in order to actually put it in my hand, but the massive amount of amazing reviews sold me on it. I’ve used both of the other two I mentioned and they are great, but I just couldn’t justify the price tags when the reviews were so good for this one. Feels great in my hand and is well balanced. I’ve been using it very often for about three months now and with regular use of a steel it’s stayed super sharp. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this knife for anyone!!

Purchased this on a whim because I needed a beater knife for when the in-laws or friends visited and needed to cook. For the price it’s a decent knife. The weight is a bit on the light end, especially when compared to my Wusthof chef knife but that blade was 3x the price. The knife came with a good edge out of the box but durability is still to be seen. I’d recommend for someone who just needs an extra “beater” knife or someone who just needs a cheap chef knife to get their knife collection started.

Very nice cook knife. The material is premium, very sharp knife. I have used this knife for a couple days, I cut super thin beef, used it for hard carrots, onions, it all works well. It’s not heavy in weight, the handle is comfortable. As far as durability and maintenance of the sharp blade, we’ll have to see. So far, it’s the best chef’s knife I’ve used in this price level.

This is the second knife I am buying. Love love the first one and wanted to have the same one in my second home. Stop your search! Just buy this knife and thank me later! This thing is awesome. The first knife I have already for 4-6 month and no change in quality. That’s why I went and purchased a second one. It arrived in 2 days and I had a huge pack of chicken cutlets that it let me filet super thin.. although this is a vegetable knife I use it for meat as well. Cut so smoothly and fast.

Overall this knife is not bad for the price. It does come in a nice gift box.. It is definitely sharp at first, but after a couple weeks of use, I had to sharpen it. Ever since then I sharpen pretty often. Also, the tip is very thin. Mine chipped after weeks of use. With that said, it’s not not a bad knife! But it’s not a chefs knife. If you’re looking for a professional knife that will last, I would look elsewhere.

Do I recommend this product? Overall, this knife makes me look like a chef. I don’t have much use for the leather case ( not sure if it’s real) unless I’m going to be carrying around with me wherever I go ( pretty sure can’t do that). Best knife ever! This is a heavy knife. I thought it would be awkward to use, but it is awesome. It easily glides through what you are cutting. It can slice garlic paper-thin. Sharp (ouch) We really like this bread knife, it slices through bread like a serrated knife through cooked dough products. Seriously though it’s pretty sharp and the wife and I have both cut ourselves while slicing bagels (because we hold the bagels like idiots). Put the bagel down Karen and use a cutting board because just one touch cuts your finger open. Oh and the handle fits in well with our other black handles knives.

This is the sharpest knife I have ever used The knife will be sitting safely in its box only coming out for some boutique work. Why? quite honestly - and as a seasoned cook who makes 90+% of my food at home, this knife is a razor on wheels. I dropped an orange on it from 2 feet and it split in two, a great parlor trick but again, be aware... Well balanced knife and i will use it but with an abundance of caution.

Fantastic knife This knife is well designed and fits your hand very well. It has a very sharp blade. I was cutting an old slightly wrinkled green pepper and it felt like it was rubbery and the knife went right though it with no problem at all. I really liked the form of the handle. That knife This is a beautiful knife and it comes in a very nice presentation box with a tip protector. I think pakka wood is some sort of laminated wood but whatever it is, it looks good. I’d never thought of using a bread knife for anything but bread but I’ve used this one on cake and even some large fruit and veggies. Works great.

This as a gift for me and I love it! My husband ordered this as a Christmas gift for me and I love it! I’ve had it for roughly five months and it is still my go to and still super sharp. It comes extremely sharp so I would be very careful especially if your inexperienced with knives since it does not hesitate. Excellent Multi-Purpose Clever Also extremely handy all purpose chopper, any chef who knows their way around a kitchen or product in question will know that this heavy blade has a myriad of uses. The sheath is also a nice touch, so it can also be serviced as an outdoor/bbq/meal prep clever. Edge is holding up fine, however I would say this would require a grinder to effectively sharpen.

Incredible This knife is incredible. Big enough to handle well, heavy enough so the weight does the cutting for you. I’ve loved using this knife for meats and vegetables. I ve Bought Five of These This is my go-to kitchen knife and I just leave it out on my Boos Block cutting board. Sure, I use my Shun knives for stuff but this knife is great for almost everything. Super sharp, cuts beautifully:Overall a great chef knives for use in a commercial kitchen. However, the blade has a high gloss polish that smears and picks up finger prints . It also has an extremely long grip. I have average size hands and I have an extra 2 inches of room. Great knife! I think it’s awesome! Very sharp and I really like how the blade is thick at the top then gets narrow on the blade edge. I used it on a semi-frozen chuck roast and it sliced like butter! But...understand that it’s a high carbon steel not stainless. It’s considerably more brittle than stainless because it’s harder.

Very nice cook knife. The material is premium, very sharp knife. I have used this knife for a couple days, I cut super thin beef, used it for hard carrots, onions, it all works well. It’s not heavy in weight, the handle is comfortable. As far as durability and maintenance of the sharp blade, we’ll have to see. So far, it’s the best chef’s knife I’ve used in this price level.

Great for slicing sourdough So I have a huge bread/cake knife I think the blade is about 15inches. I made the mistake of using that to cut into a fresh sourdough loaf. The knife was way to long, slipped on the delicious crust and I cut myself pretty bad. It was then I realized that I needed a smaller and sturdier knife for bread and my other knife has been relegated to cutting cakes.

Great addition to the kitchen tool box. This is a great addition for someone looking for a meat trimmer and dicer. I primarily use it to trim the fat off of beef or pork roasts and chicken. Works well because it is super sharp and the heavy blade makes it easy to slice through tough meats. I questioned the finger hole but it helps with control. All-in-all it’s a great knife for the price.

Wow - What A Knife! I ve never had a chef s knife before and this seems like a very good one. It s well balanced and feels good in the hand. The handle is made of wood and feels very comfortable as you hold it. It comes in a nice presentation box and it has a slip-on guard that covers the entire sharp edge. I assumed the hammered design on the sides was simply for looks, but it also serves to shed the cut food as you cut through thicker things - a nice touch. The blade is made of carbon steel, a preferred material for knives. The proof is in the cutting, of course, and I first tested it by slicing through a sheet of paper as I held it and it made nice clean cuts. Then I progressed to steaks, onions, and cucumbers. It made quick work of them. The blade is very sharp and the weight works for chopping as well as slicing. I ll be using this one frequently for a long time.
