This is a real knife When you hold his knife in your hand you ll know what I mean by a real knife the blade is almost a quarter of an inch thick and feels great in the hand, very sharp. as a razor blade, I sliced tomato with this thing a 1/8 in thick.3 years ago

I have never used a knife that slides through everything with such ease. I went to slice open the plastic packaging for the sausages I was cooking, and I thought I had missed the plastic - it was that smooth. I barely had to apply any pressure when slicing up the sausages. Cutting up the carrots, cauliflower, and apples was amazingly easy, as well. I m going to take good care of this little gem of a knife!4 years ago

I always hand wash and dry immediately, so it never has the chance to rust or discolor. That knife This is a beautiful knife and it comes in a very nice presentation box with a tip protector. I think pakka wood is some sort of laminated wood but whatever it is, it looks good. I’d never thought of using a bread knife for anything but bread but I’ve used this one on cake and even some large fruit and veggies. Works great.5 years ago

I ve Bought Five of These This is my go to kitchen knife and I just leave it out on my cutting board. Sure, I use my other knives for stuff but this knife is great for almost everything. The first one I bought was for my son who is in culinary school. Then I bought one for myself. Now, when I have someone I cook for they almost say "What a cool knife". So the other 3 have been gifts. Super sharp, cuts beautifully:Overall a great chef knives for use in a commercial kitchen. However, the blade has a high gloss polish that smears and picks up finger prints . It also has an extremely long grip. I have average size hands and I have an extra 2 inches of room. Great for some one with large hands but also this does hinder use by those with smaller hands.I am truly impressed with a knife that this one cuts or slices with such ease.Makes cooking so much easier.Great deal, great knife! It s convenient to cut vegetables I received the knife. After a simple trial, I found it was very useful. I felt it was very light. The weight of the kitchen knife was less than half of that of other stainless steel integrated kitchen knives. It was very convenient to hold and save energy. This is the sharpest knife I have ever used The knife will be sitting safely in its box only coming out for some boutique work. Why? quite honestly - and as a seasoned cook who makes 90+% of my food at home, this knife is a razor on wheels. I dropped an orange on it from 2 feet and it split in two, a great parlor trick but again, be aware... Well balanced knife and i will use it but with an abundance of caution.8 years ago

I was cutting an old slightly wrinkled green pepper and it felt like it was rubbery and the knife went right though it with no problem at all. I really liked the form of the handle. They were shinny. I like that they have weight to them with a great balance I can grip it with confidence. Because each blade is one piece all the way threw. Sharp as shit and they instantly demand respect. I didn t pay an arm and leg for them but I got something that I know will last a good while. The restaurant I worked at bought some of them for the kitchen and I sliced clean through the top of my thumb and thumbnail during a rush, it s that sharp. Fantastic for the price Fantastic knife! Good weight. Nice handling. Very sharp and keeps a good edge so far. I have not honed or sharpened it yet. I keep a brush with oil on hand to lightly brush it with oil to keep it from rusting. Sure to last as far as I can see. It s leather sheath is very durable. The only small problem with the sheath is that the knife catches a bit on the snap that it has when drawing it.10 years ago

Just got this and went on a chopping spree this blade is super sharp it is heavy and makes useing it a dream, I peeled a hand of ginger and the sharpness allowed me to remove just the skin ot looks big but that is what you want when chopping or slicing and you can slice thin with this blade if all of their knives are this good I may be buying the rest of the knives in this line.10 years ago
