Great knife! I think it’s awesome! Very sharp and I really like how the blade is thick at the top then gets narrow on the blade edge. I used it on a semi-frozen chuck roast and it sliced like butter! But...understand that it’s a high carbon steel not stainless. It’s considerably more brittle than stainless because it’s harder.2 years ago -

Heavy Duty Blade Am a man. Very sharp and heavy blade. I was surprised by how thick the metal was. The weight of the knife might tire someone with smaller or more delicate hands. It’s beast at chopping. I use the wide blade as a sort of spatula when doing prep work in the kitchen3 years ago

Best and sharp knife Just got this and went on a chopping spree this blade is super sharp it is heavy and makes useing it a dream, I peeled a hand of ginger and the sharpness allowed me to remove just the skin ot looks big but that is what you want when chopping or slicing and you can slice thin with this blade if all of their knives are this good I may be buying the rest of the knives in this line3 years ago

Wow - What A Knife! I ve never had a chef s knife before and this seems like a very good one. It s well balanced and feels good in the hand. The handle is made of wood and feels very comfortable as you hold it. It comes in a nice presentation box and it has a slip-on guard that covers the entire sharp edge. I assumed the hammered design on the sides was simply for looks, but it also serves to shed the cut food as you cut through thicker things - a nice touch. The blade is made of carbon steel, a preferred material for knives. The proof is in the cutting, of course, and I first tested it by slicing through a sheet of paper as I held it and it made nice clean cuts. Then I progressed to steaks, onions, and cucumbers. It made quick work of them. The blade is very sharp and the weight works for chopping as well as slicing. I ll be using this one frequently for a long time.3 years ago

This knife is with excellent craftsmanship and is extremely sharp. I like knives and this one is a good looking nicely balanced chef s knife for regular kitchen duty. The handle is comfortable and the blade has a good shape for all the chores you d use a chef s knife for. The only, minor, point on craftsmanship is the wood to metal fit could be a bit better. I m very Satisfied : This chef knife are very sharp and great for chopping up veggies and also cutting thru thick cuts of meats n pork shoulders!!! I use them daily n am very satisfied.These knives are amazing. Sharp razor :I purchased this knife for a vacation home that was lacking decent chef knife. I was looking for an inexpensive knife that would have adequate performance. I was not disappointed. The knife is of excellent quality and is very solid. It is razor sharp and holds it’s edge well. I have a few expensive Chef s knives that I have collected over the past 50 years. Some of them cost close to $100 each. They are great, but have to be sharpened frequently. I was given this knife as a birthday present, and loved it so much I bought one for my sister. I have had my knife for about 11 months, and I have not had the need to use a steel to realign the molecules, nor have I had to sharpen it. This is one amazing knife. Just A Fantastic Knife :I m a very senior home cook and have owned most all brand name knifes over the years but this knife is the best i ve ever owned. Not only is it attractive and well balanced it cuts thru almost anything like soft butter. Have only had it for four months now but so far it s like brand new. Will update this review in the future if anything changes but right now I highly recommend it. Great everday knife for kitchen I ve used this knife on multiple items so far. It cut raw chicken & meats very easily for me. There was no sawing required like some of my other knives. The size is perfect to make it a versatile tool in the kitchen. The knife is hand washed and dried. I have had no issues with this knife and it seems like it will be a sturdy knife for everyday use. I m completely impressed by this knife. I wasn t sure what to expect because of the modest price but was pleasantly surprised. The knife feels great in the hand and has very good balance. Very good quality and razor sharp right out of the box. I use it as a chef s knife so I m not hacking bones with it but it slices beautifully and easily. I can t speak to how it holds an edge or resharpens because I haven t had to touch it up yet. I don t think it ll be a problem. I do recommend this chef s knife.9 years ago

Really nice knife : This is the chef knife that I ordered. Being a professionally trained chef, I am finicky about my knives. For this price point, I don’t think you are going to find a more well-balanced and accurate piece of cutlery. Keeps and edge very well, and I really do love it, and am loving this overall! Blade is as sharp as sharp can be. Balance is outstanding. Handle is beauteous. If only it came with the same quality sheath. I ve Bought Five of These This is my go-to kitchen knife and I just leave it out on my Boos Block cutting board. Sure, I use my Shun knives for stuff but this knife is great for almost everything. The first one I bought was for my son who is in culinary school. Then I bought one for myself. Now, when I have someone I cook for they almost say "What a cool knife". So the other 3 have been gifts. It has a really good weight and it is thick. The handle is wood and feels nice in your hand. I have several knives in the kitchen, but I wanted something that could take brutal force. This knife is one of my favorites now. It comes with a sheath, I honestly haven t used it yet. I just hang it on the magnetic strip. I like this knife so well I have used it to spread butter and jam.
