Worth it This is a really nice knife! Really good quality. When washing it I was reading reviews about rust and it’s not a problem as long as you wash it by hand and not a dish washer and actually dry it off. An amazing blade that can do just about everything. I must say this is a great knife! The full tang and heavy spine gives it the cutting power of a full butcher knife. Its heavy but balanced which plays well when you need intricate cuts. The curve of the spine to the point gives it the finesse of a chefs knife. In no way does this knife replace every knife in the kitchen but with the amazing leather sheath mean you can take this and only this in the back country and do everything from dress an animal to cut veggies to cook with it. This knife is sharp! I didn’t touch it up at all and it glides through food. I bought a separate guard for it to keep the edge safe in our drawer. The fit and finish is perfect. There are no gaps around the scales, the rivets are ground smooth and flush, the spine of the blade is slightly rounded and smooth. Been using it for a month and it’s still sharp. I’m very impressed coming from a Giada chef knife I’ve been using for the last 10 years that needed frequent sharpening/touch ups.5 years ago

This blade is made to cleve and chop and has a seamless wedge blade geometry still sharp enough to slice. Nice looking knife. Has a nice balance to it and feels good when I m chopping vegetables. But notice the knife started to chip away after a few months of use. It s become dull quickly after the first week of being used. Can barely cut any meats anymore. Sharpening could help, but hate to see the knife already being chipped.7 years ago
