No Bolster increases efficiency I really like the fact that there is no bolster to this knife. Which increases the efficiency of the entire blade & in regards to future sharpening if necessary. The blade is the heavier point of this knife. Plenty of space is provided between the handle & blade. Finally, it fits well into both my hand & my room mates hand.3 years ago

Lifetime Investment, well worth the price This knife has everything I hoped for to replace my ten year old cheap knife. In addition to being dishwasher safe, it has a much sturdier blade. This helps in two ways: first, it won t flex during use, which makes it safer. Second, having more metal on the blade means that it will be worth the price of a professional sharpening when the time arises. In actual use it is noticeably easier to use than my old knife, even disregarding how dull the old knife was. The weight of the blade means I can create much more consistent and thinner slices without any additional effort. The knife itself is weighted perfectly. It is easy to use and balanced nicely. The handle has a solid core which is part of the blade and from the looks of it should never wear out. The blade is thick, a little over 2mm and hard! I am impressed with how long it stays sharp given how much it gets used and how quickly past knives dulled.4 years ago

I m in love with this knife I grab knives every time I see them in my cue. Then I find out that yes its great for cutting bread, but its also killer for fruit. The handle feels good in your hand and doesn t seem to be something that will fall apart in your hands. It s become a go to knife for an untrained cook. Highly recommended4 years ago

I have the 7 inch Kitchen Knife. This is a very sharp knife. It has a gentle curve on the blade, so slicing is very easy. It glides through firm items and does a nice job on tomatoes. It has an attractive handle and nice feel to it. I will see how well the blade keeps its edge over time. Also, just received paring knife. Paring knives are not too exciting, but this has an attractive angle like the kitchen knife and a similar, very sharp, blade. I like the handle. It has nice weight and a comfortable feel. Razor sharp, well made, cheap leather sheath. Buy it. I love this knife the price for what you get is great. I don’t know if the one I purchased was a freak but right out of the box and still the sharpest new knife I’ve ever owned. Great for cutting meat or even tomatoes. The leather sheath is OK. Decently put together but cheap leather but if ur looking for a long lasting sharp knife for a decent price then buy it.5 years ago

That s the same idea here, this knife is fabulous. Its built well and it cuts, believe me. I say this magical steel slice through a rack of ribs in seconds. The knife packaging comes nice enough to give as a gift, and also very safe with little guards on the blades. The handle almost looks decorative. Enough so that I would not want to put in my dishwasher. Something to consider since the price is right and does a decent job.5 years ago

Mean and good It s heavy, well built, and cuts like butter. I bought it a while ago, but yesterday I chopped chicken with it myself(normally the task is outsourced to the men of the family). Decent Knife - Excellent Value: Before I go further, this replaces knife that I have used every day for 30 years or so. I use a whetstone regularly and keep my knives very sharp. Any difference in feel creates an issue for me; something that will take time to get used to.On the plus side this knife is very good value. it seems to be well constructed of very good steel. The dry handle has a great feel to it. The blade has ample width and it came razor-sharp out of the box.wonderful knife, best I have owned. good balance, sharp, looks good.Very pleased with this knife. This knife is NOT A joke, it s not an overly light knife, it has some pretty good weight to it.I love that this comes super sharp, the last thing I love is sharpening knives. Actually, I hate it.This is also going to be easy to sharpen when I do have too get some oomph on it, bit I don t see that happening anytime soon.This is NOT made with cheap metal, but with super solid stainless steel, right down to the hardware in the handle.This is what I am grabbing for when I need to cut and or dice meat, which I buy in bulk and unfortunately have to separate myself and bag up to freeze.The handle is BEAUTIFUL as well!8 years ago

Much better than expected. This thing, especially for the price, is incredible. It s heavy and sturdy and has kept its edge well after I sharpened it. The 2 things I thought might feel cheap were the handle and the sheath, but those are also really nice. I thought the handle might be cheap plastic, but it feels nice and has slight groove, and so at least looks to be a dark wood. The sheath is stamped leather and is of a nice color.9 years ago

Multi-use knife great for everything It’s a decent heavy knife I love cutting, chopping, and slicing, it does it all sharp blade. It’s great after cutting stuff to scooping veggies onto the knife and taking them straight to the pan. I’ve noticed myself cutting better, thinner, straighter, with less effort out of my hand and more of the knife doing the work. The sheath is very nice I wouldn’t say it’s the best but built well and has thicker edges to fit the blade. The knife cleans up real easy stuff do not stick to it. Overall pretty damn good knife originally I got this as a camping and hunting knife, an all-in-one knife As I would best describe it. but know I’m using it every day in the kitchen and will probably get a second one so I don’t forget it9 years ago

Great knives for their price. Sharper than I expected and look amazing. These knives have a nice and shiny design, I’m happy that I have now different knives for raw meat/vegetable/cooked meat/fruit, etc. The blade was so sharp, need to be extra careful when I clean them, so that I don t get cut. High quality with great price :I was surprised to receive the chef knife early in the morning and, 3 days early! It came in a nice box well protected. I must agree with many reviewers that the knife if hefty! It has substance! It feels good in the hand and after washing this morning, I used it to prep items for breakfast!LOVE this knife. It stays super sharp, really comfortable in the hand, nice quality, and quite nice. I will purchase more of these types from this manufacturer. The quality is excellent for the money. Great Piece! These knifes work really good! Super sharp and the various knifes work for different items that I want to cut. The handles fit nicely in my hand and feel really sturdy. An amazing blade that can do just about everything. I must say this is a great knife! The full tang and heavy spine give it the cutting power of a full butcher knife. It s heavy but balanced which plays well when you need intricate cuts. The curve of the spine to the point gives it the finesse of a chef s knife. In no way does this knife replace every knife in the kitchen but the amazing leather and sheath mean you can take this and only this in the backcountry and do everything from dress an animal to cut veggies to cook with it.
