The handle is comfortable in the hand and the whole knife is perfectly balanced. The range of knives made by Global is extensive. This is the second knife I am buying. Love love the first one and wanted to have the same one in my second home. Stop your search! Just buy this knife and thank me later! This thing is awesome. The first knife I have already for 4-6 month and no change in quality. That’s why I went and purchased a second one. It arrived in 2 days and I had a huge pack of chicken cutlets that it let me filet super thin.. although this is a vegetable knife I use it for meat as well. Cut so smoothly and fast.

It also has an extremely long grip. I have average size hands and I have an extra 2 inches of room. Great for some one with large hands but also this does hinder use by those with smaller hands.I am truly impressed with a knife that this one cuts or slices with such ease.Makes cooking so much easier.Great deal, great knife! Solid and well built knife - love this thing Just got this knife and can t stop using it. Comes nicely sharpened and with great balance. Thanks to its weight, it cuts through things like they re butter. I also love how I can fit an entire chopped onion on the knife to throw into a pan. Very nice cook knife. The material is premium, very sharp knife. I have used this knife for a couple days, I cut super thin beef, used it for hard carrots, onions, it all works well. It’s not heavy in weight, the handle is comfortable. As far as durability and maintenance of the sharp blade, we’ll have to see. So far, it’s the best chef’s knife I’ve used in this price level.

Great addition to the kitchen tool box. This is a great addition for someone looking for a meat trimmer and dicer. I primarily use it to trim the fat off of beef or pork roasts and chicken. Works well because it is super sharp and the heavy blade makes it easy to slice through tough meats. I questioned the finger hole but it helps with control. All-in-all it’s a great knife for the price.

They were shinny. I like that they have weight to them with a great balance I can grip it with confidence. Because each blade is one piece all the way threw. An Amazing Knife! This knife is a heavy cleaver that comes very sharp out of the box and cuts like crazy! The heft of the knife can be a bit tiresome but the handle is very comfortable so the tradeoff is worth it. It cuts through potatoes, carrots, and everything else with ease. Quality for price I wanted the really good Alamazn Chef knife but couldnt affordable knife. I got the Chinese knock off....its high carbon blade that seems like a proper heat treat was applied. Sharp Knife. Will write back on how long the knife holds its edge.

Awesome value Super sharp, full Tang. My knife skills stink, however this knife makes it easy. Comfortable in the hand- well balanced. I have used it on bison, beef, pork, bacon, apples, kiwi, tomatoes,even grapes! You just have to remember to wash & dry it right away. I treat it just like my cast iron, oiling after a wash. The sheath is a nice bonus.
