Almazan Custom handmade Carbon Steel Butcher knife with Dollar Wood Handle

I ve Bought Five of These This is my go-to kitchen knife and I just leave it out on my Boos Block cutting board. Sure, I use my Shun knives for stuff but this knife is great for almost everything. The first one I bought was for my son who is in culinary school. Then I bought one for myself. Now, when I have someone I cook for they almost say "What a cool knife". So the other 3 have been gifts. Holds an edge well, good weight, nicely maneuverable. Highly Recommend!

Sharp (ouch) We really like this knife. Seriously though it’s pretty sharp and the wife and I have both cut ourselves while slicing bagels (because we hold the bagels like idiots). Put the bagel down Karen and use a cutting board because just one touch cuts your finger open. Oh and the handle fits in well with our other black handles knives.

this is an extremely great blade. this blade is extremely hard and will keep the edge for a very long time but the downside is that the blade isnt very tough and is also really thin so it can snap fairly easy. it shouldn t be an issue for those who have at least 3 brain cells. the blade is beautiful and extremely light. And with all the chromium it wont rust. you will have to go out of your way to ruin this blade. extremely high quality for the price and the little case it comes with is really great

Comfortable and SHARP :"I bought this for my chef daughter and she absolutely loves this knife! I m very Satisfied :This chef knife are very sharp and great for chopping up veggies and also cutting thru thick cuts of meats n pork shoulders!!! Surprising quality Surprising quality for the price. It looks like it was cut from an old piece of cargo ship but it works great. I m surprised by the quality the chinese can make for 20 bucks.

I love to cook and have been dealing with dull, cheap knives for years, until my son told me about this knife. It has truly been life changing! I cook from scratch almost every day, and this is super sharp and comfortable, and cuts through hard items like raw sweet potatoes and squash with ease, makes fine dicing of onions super easy, makes trimming raw meat quick and easy - it is a true time saver! Just a head s up - it is really very sharp, and so even though it warns you of that on the packaging, the first thing I did right out of the gate was cut myself with it when I attempted to de-seed a pepper in my hand like I normally would have with one of my old, dull knives haha. It was just a minor paper cut type slice thank goodness, but yeah it really does work! It says not to put in the dishwasher, but one time a family member did put it in the dishwasher with no apparent ill effects. Probably not good to do on a regular basis though.

Great knife. I own other expensive brands but ... Great knife. I own other expensive brands but they don t hold a candle to this knife. Very easy to handle and use, sharp blades, easy cut. Can t say enough good things about it. Easily the best knife I own(and the cheapest). I had reservations when I ordered it. But the moment I used it, it was nothing but pure satisfaction. The size is perfect from the very small, like a cherry tomato, to a watermelon. Same ease of use, regardless of the size of the object being cut. Blade stayed sharp.

Easily to chopingand slicing:This knife is unbelievable. It really sliced everything up like butter!! I even tried it with the hardest of meat and it was still so easy to cut. Really nice bread knife I am surprised on how well made this knife is. It sits right next to my Shun knives and matches them well. Cutting large loaves of home made bread is now real easy.

This as a gift for me and I love it! My husband ordered this as a Christmas gift for me and I love it! I’ve had it for roughly five months and it is still my go to and still super sharp. It comes extremely sharp so I would be very careful especially if your inexperienced with knives since it does not hesitate. It’s a very beautiful knife it also comes in a very nice box, i still store mine in its box when not using it and the box has held up very nicely

Awesome knife I love this knife, this is my go to knife when I cook. It has a great feel in my hand and is a super sharp knife. It is a large knife and can be intimidating, but once you start using it you can t put it down.

Very sharp , be careful , great knife Out of the box this knife was really sharp and has some weight to it. You only have to use a little pressure and it cuts through. I ve used this to dice veges , garlic and ribs . This is my #1 go to knife . I sometimes chop stuff like this tomatoes just because it feels good , lol, don t judge .

Wow. First of all, the presentation alone makes this knife look 3x more expensive than it really is. It showed up in a sleek black box with a vibrant red moulding inside. I was very impressed when I saw this as I ve ordered knives online before and they just show up in a plastic case. So the knife itself is beautiful. The way it sliced through chicken was impressive with no effort on my part whatsoever. It s very comfortable to hold and easy to clean. longlasting sharpness:I am a culinary professional and I can honestly say this is one of the best knives you can get for the money. I ve had mine for about 6 years now and is still my go-to workhorse knife in the kitchen. Handle is incredibly comfortable very easy to maintain a sharp edge when cared for properly. It is by no means the top of the line but that said it certainly performs like it. 10 out of 10 would recommend for anyone from beginners to season chef.Nice kitchen knife. The steel is very hard so it keeps a razor edge for a long time.

Gorgeous and useful I love this knife. It s extremely sharp and easy to handle. I was a little nervous about the length since it is a very large knife, but it s great for everyday use and hard to cut items. Oh and did I mention that it s pretty!?

Very sharp! More heavy duty than needed for general cutting and chopping for cooking stir frys, frittatas, and such but the wide blade makes it easy to scoop up what you just cut up. Beautiful knives that are nice and sharp. I especially like this set as it includes the chef knife for slicing and dicing vegetables. Long lasting blade and great sharpness:Bought this a gift for a friend. Heard from her brother that it carved the turkey quite nicely over Thanksgiving and see was looking forward to using it on the Christmas ham. She loves it and that s really all that matters to me. But as knife guy myself the overall look and feel of the blade and most importantly the balance all impressed me. The leather sheath was well made as well. Nice weight, Shipped and arrived SUPER fast I have been looking for a knife like this for a long time, and was only finding the carbon steel ones that rust without special care. I am not a special care person beyond hand washing when it comes to my knives. I have not used it yet, but looking forward to using it. Weight using the handle feels great, like a cleaver. Weight using a finger thumb grip where the handle meets the blade feels equally as good for chopping, and even some delicate work.

Just what I needed. This is a great knife. First task out of the box was to split an oven roaster chicken. Did this with ease. The knife has a nice weight (and razor edge) and when right through the chicken bones. The very next task was to finely chop fresh herbs for said chicken...again excellent control. The handle is well attached and the black patina from the heat treatment gives the knife an old world look. My family raises and butchers chicken and beef. This knife will get a workout. I ll review it in six months and give an update.

Great Buy! I was really surprised at the quality of this knife. I expected something cheaply mass produced to look hand made, but this knife actually is made to last! I would recommend buying this knife! If it doesn’t work out it can always be returned however, I don’t think you will want to return it.

These knives are so nice,they came in very pretty gift box, I used them to cut steak, fish,and vegetable,and the small one I used to cut my fruit. Sharp knife for its value For the value spent, this knife exceeded my expectations. Delivery came in a week in advance. This knife is very light weight, comfortable handle. The downfall to this knife is the blades are very thin. Therefore, dropping it on the floor can bend the tip. I wish it would come with a knife cover.

Razor sharp. Great weight and balance to it as well. Beautiful sheath to keep it in. I cannot recommend this knife enough. Just took a hard cured Sausage from the fridge and it went through it like it was made of butter.
