This knife is very lightweight and easy to use. It come out of of box extremely sharp so be careful. I have a large hand and the handle is a tiny bit small for my liking but it is still very comfortable. We only use it for cutting meats and it has no issues after using it for about two months. Great everday knife for kitchen I ve used this knife on multiple items so far. It cut raw chicken & meats very easily for me. There was no sawing required like some of my other knives. Awesome knife This knife comes in a very nice box if you want to give it as a gift. It s a very long knife and could nearly slice a loaf lengthwise.It s very sharp so may be really good for slicing meat, My only issue is that it is so sharp that I m afraid to store it in a drawer without a case, so I will store it in the box, I don t want to reach in and slice my hand. I love to cook and have been dealing with dull, cheap knives for years, until my son told me about this knife. It has truly been life changing! I cook from scratch almost every day, and this is super sharp and comfortable, and cuts through hard items like raw sweet potatoes and squash with ease, makes fine dicing of onions super easy, makes trimming raw meat quick and easy - it is a true time saver! Just a head s up - it is really very sharp, and so even though it warns you of that on the packaging, the first thing I did right out of the gate was cut myself with it when I attempted to de-seed a pepper in my hand like I normally would have with one of my old, dull knives haha. It was just a minor paper cut type slice thank goodness, but yeah it really does work! It says not to put in the dishwasher, but one time a family member did put it in the dishwasher with no apparent ill effects. Probably not good to do on a regular basis though.4 years ago

This as a gift for me and I love it! My husband ordered this as a Christmas gift for me and I love it! I’ve had it for roughly five months and it is still my go to and still super sharp. It comes extremely sharp so I would be very careful especially if your inexperienced with knives since it does not hesitate. An amazing blade that can do just about everything. I must say this is a great knife! The full tang and heavy spine give it the cutting power of a full butcher knife. It s heavy but balanced which plays well when you need intricate cuts. The curve of the spine to the point gives it the finesse of a chef s knife. In no way does this knife replace every knife in the kitchen but the amazing leather and sheath mean you can take this and only this in the backcountry and do everything from dress an animal to cut veggies to cook with it. Long lasting blade and great sharpness:Bought this a gift for a friend. Heard from her brother that it carved the turkey quite nicely over Thanksgiving and see was looking forward to using it on the Christmas ham. She loves it and that s really all that matters to me. Best knife ever! This is a heavy knife. I thought it would be awkward to use, but it is awesome. It easily glides through what you are cutting. It can slice garlic paper-thin.
