Very sharp , be careful , great knife Out of the box this knife was really sharp and has some weight to it. You only have to use a little pressure and it cuts through. Solid, beautiful knife I love this knife. It a really solid knife with a good amount of weight to it. It feels great in the hand and glides easily when cutting bread. Very Heavy Duty Knife! This is a very heavy-duty knife! The blade has a good depth and thickness. The length is very nice, and allows me to cut odd shaped loaves, such as a round loaf of sourdough bread. The serrated blade cuts well. The grip is large enough to fit well into a large hand such as mine and feels solid. It is not one of those cheaply-made hollow handle knives. Razor sharp, well made, cheap leather sheath. Buy it. I love this knife the price for what you get is great. I don’t know if the one I purchased was a freak but right out of the box and still the sharpest new knife I’ve ever owned. Great for cutting meat or even tomatoes. The leather sheath is OK. Sharp And Careful To Use :We received this very handy and well-positioned chef knife, which will have no effect on our review. The very well processed knife of good impression visually, when you first grasp, you are consciously balanced and well the knife literally puts itself in your hand. The processed blade special steel as well as the pakkawood are very well processed and have no defects or production residues.Really sharp. I would not advise for your day to day cook. You need some experience in handling cutlery to properly handle this cleaver. I really like. I cut my finger just getting it out of the box but that was my fault (I survived). I also would recommend that the non-cutting edges be rounded or protected from accidental cuts. Also, be careful when cleaning as the blade is extremely sharp!3 years ago

Chef knife I really like this knife. I figure I would buy a cheap one and use it as a work horse and not need to worry to much about it. This knife came super sharp out of the box, mental feels very strong. Handle is very well designed well balance. This is sturdy enough where I don’t have to worry about it. Amazing knife. Pro material Great knife. It’s become my go-to for separating chickens and cutting root vegetables. I’ve only used it a couple times on other things, but I try to keep my knives separated by task so I can rely on them better. It’s nice because the back of the knife is so tall that often, it stays above what I’m cutting, so it stays nice and clean and easy to control. The sheath is very nice. It fits perfectly in the leather sheath and you can fold the clasp away so you don’t accidentally cut it off.All that said, I love this knife and it is now one of my primary knives for tough root vegetables and butcher work.4 years ago

Just A Fantastic Knife:I love this chef knife It s razor sharp out of the box. The blade has enough meat on it s bones to be sturdy, but not so much as to feel heavy to use. The handle is gorgeous and ergonomic, though "pakkawood" simply seems to be laminated acrylic impregnated wood I bought as I prefer to have a chefs knife and this one very much fits the bill. Much better than expected. This thing, especially for the price, is incredible. It s heavy and sturdy and has kept its edge well after I sharpened it. The 2 things I thought might feel cheap were the handle and the sheath, but those are also really nice. I thought the handle might be cheap plastic, but it feels nice and has slight groove, and so at least looks to be a dark wood. The sheath is stamped leather and is of a nice color.5 years ago

Multi-use knife great for everything It’s a decent heavy knife I love cutting, chopping, and slicing, it does it all sharp blade. It’s great after cutting stuff to scooping veggies onto the knife and taking them straight to the pan. I’ve noticed myself cutting better, thinner, straighter, with less effort out of my hand and more of the knife doing the work. The sheath is very nice I wouldn’t say it’s the best but built well and has thicker edges to fit the blade. The knife cleans up real easy stuff do not stick to it. Overall pretty damn good knife originally I got this as a camping and hunting knife, an all-in-one knife As I would best describe it. but know I’m using it every day in the kitchen and will probably get a second one so I don’t forget it5 years ago

This knife is sharp! I didn’t touch it up at all and it glides through food. I bought a separate guard for it to keep the edge safe in our drawer. The fit and finish is perfect. There are no gaps around the scales, the rivets are ground smooth and flush, the spine of the blade is slightly rounded and smooth. Been using it for a month and it’s still sharp. I’m very impressed coming from a Giada chef knife I’ve been using for the last 10 years that needed frequent sharpening/touch ups.5 years ago

Incredible Sharp chef knife: Sharp, looks great, and fancy in the package! I love the handle .I must say the not only is it beautiful to look at, but it is also razor sharp and extremely light. This makes it perfect for heavy prep and continuous use. Very fast delivery. This blade is made to cleve and chop and has a seamless wedge blade geometry still sharp enough to slice. Lifetime Investment, well worth the price This knife has everything I hoped for to replace my ten year old cheap grocery store bread knife. In addition to being dishwasher safe, it has a much sturdier blade. This helps in two ways: first, it won t flex during use, which makes it safer.
