absolutely incredible:For years I have used a chef s knife and been pretty happy with it. This chef s knife is in another league though. It s surprisingly weighty, extremely well made and very, very sharp. It looks great too. Really impressed with the craftsmanship and design! Given the price, I did not expect to like this knife at much as I do. Right out of the box it was sharp enough to slice through tomatoes easily. Sharp and easy to clean :This is a sharp knife, be careful with it till you get used to the sharpness, unlike my old knife this one cuts on contact (could be your finger). My family and I have history when it comes to dull knives. Despite buying a brand new knife, it s dull within a matter of a few days and constantly sharpening it can be a hassle. However, we need a knife to make our food as we eat a lot of meats and hard vegetables like ginger, turnips, etc. I decided to buy this knife because of the good reviews, and WOW! I love how the handle is smooth and melds into your palm, quite comfortable to hold! I used it for the first time to cut frozen meat, and usually my hands starts to ache within the first couple of minutes, but surprisingly, I didn t experience any pain so far with this knife. Extremely Sharp with good handle :This is the first chef knife with pakkawood handle that I ve ever had. I looked up online what a pakkawood is before buying this, and pakkawood is handmade that makes for a strong and ultra-durable material. The knife handle looks quite vintage as it seems to be made of "real wood".The pakkawood is more durable but share the same look of real wood. Gorgeous chef knife : All over the knives is absolutely Gorgeous and cut amazingly. The pictures do not do these knives justice. The steel and handle are so pretty and intricate. You do not even need to put any pressure on the blade for it to smoothly slice through anything. it is simply a gorgeous piece of steel. Well balanced, great handle feed. Surgically sharp. Extremely beautiful and functional but I m kinda disappointed. After a few months the label on the blade is starting to wear off. Other wise I highly recommend it.4 years ago

Overall this knife is not bad for the price. It does come in a nice gift box.. It is definitely sharp at first, but after a couple weeks of use, I had to sharpen it. Ever since then I sharpen pretty often. Also, the tip is very thin. Mine chipped after weeks of use. With that said, it’s not not a bad knife! But it’s not a chefs knife. It is super versatile, you can cut meat, chicken, vegetables, fruits, etc. It really deserves the classification "Cook s Knife".The edge hasn t lost any of its sharpness and we use it heavily every day. I know it s cheap, but it compares very favorably to the similarly priced Victorinox Fibrox, which I ve had for years. Sharper than the Vic for now at least. I keep it from staying wet very long due to the carbon content, and so far no rusting and it s staying very, very sharp with just honing. I wouldn t use it for abusive use like bones, but for fine veggie chopping and especially tomatoes, it s the best knife I ve used.6 years ago

Excellent blade:The first thing you ll notice when you pick up this knife is how great it feels to hold. The ergonomics of the handle are superb. The second thing you ll notice is how light it is. Most premium knives use a thicker blade stock and denser handle materials, but this blade is thin and the handle a medium density plastic. For my taste, it s perfect. I own a few nicer knives and they all weigh meaningfully more than this one, but this is the one I reach for when I have some serious cutting to do.
