Incredible This knife is incredible. Big enough to handle well, heavy enough so the weight does the cutting for you. I’ve loved using this knife for meats and vegetables. Wow. First of all, the presentation alone makes this knife look 3x more expensive than it really is. It showed up in a sleek black box with a vibrant red moulding inside. I was very impressed when I saw this as I ve ordered knives online before and they just show up in a plastic case. So the knife itself is beautiful. It has a handsome wood handle and is super lightweight. Right out of the box, I began prepping dinner for that night. longlasting sharpness:I am a culinary professional and I can honestly say this is one of the best knives you can get for the money. I ve had mine for about 6 years now and is still my go-to workhorse knife in the kitchen. Handle is incredibly comfortable very easy to maintain a sharp edge when cared for properly. I wish I had it 20 years ago .. WOW This is the REAL THING. Sharpens to super sharp and STAYS sharp for a very long time. Right wight helps chop things with ease. Whether I need brunoise my celery, julienne my carrots or cube my meat, I get the accuracy. The blade is neither too thick or too thin, which I think is key. An Amazing Knife! This knife is a heavy cleaver that comes very sharp out of the box and cuts like crazy! The heft of the knife can be a bit tiresome but the handle is very comfortable so the tradeoff is worth it. It cuts through potatoes, carrots, and everything else with ease.
